Yet another actor from the hit HBO show stopped by Chico & Sons in Northfield this week. This time, it was Dan Grimaldi — aka, Patsy Parisi. Karl Kulakowski purchased the Tilton Road restaurant in 2020, and invites actors from "The Sopranos" to stop by and make their own sandwiches or entrees. Their creations get a spot on the menu. Steve Marchel and Robin Kramer have recently opened Betty's Seafood Shack in Margate. The restaurant pays homage to Steve's beloved Portuguese Water Dog, Betty, who died in 2018. 2 Drivers Dead In Wrong-Way Parkway Crash Two drivers died in a head-on crash on the Garden State Parkway Friday, Oct. 21, authorities said. Cortney Downey, of Northfield, and Michelle ross, of North Carolina, collided in Little Egg Harbor Township around 9:30 p.m., causing Ross' 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander to overturn, New Jersey State Police said. Downey, 32, who was in a Toyota Corolla, and Ross were both pronounced dead. It was not clear which driver was heading in the wrong direction. Condolences poured in on social media for Downey. Rookie NJ Officer Killed In Off-Duty Accident A police department in Atlantic County is mourning the loss of one of its own. Northfield police officer Jonathan Scull died in an off-duty accident Tuesday, Aug. 30 at 27 years old. Scull was apparently working on a vehicle at a private home in a nearby town when the accident occurred, NJ Advance Media reports. "Officer Scull's career as a police officer was just beginning," Northfield Police Chief Paul S. Newman said. "He was a proactive police officer and was excited to come to work every day. Where NJ's $1 Million Powerball Ticket Was Sold A New Jersey lottery ticket worth $1 million was sold in Camden County. The Powerball ticket for the Saturday, Sept. 25 drawing was sold at Shop & Go on Johnson Road in Turnersville. The ticket matched five of the five white balls drawn: 22, 23, 37, 62, and 63. The Red Power Ball number was 19. In addition, one ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball winning $50,000.
