Gavin Barooah, of Ledgewood, was behind the wheel of a Mercedes Benz when his vehicle collided with a Jeep around 8 p.m. at Morris and Sussex turnpikes in Randolph, according to Meghan Knab, a spokesperson for the county prosecutor's office. Video: Elderly Driver Hospitalized After Paramus Crash PARAMUS, N.J. -- The elderly driver of an SUV was hospitalized with injuries that responders said weren't life-threatening after a Friday morning crash in Paramus. The other driver apparently wasn't injured. Both the Toyota SUV and Mercedes sedan involved in the crash at the intersection of Paramus Road and West Midland Avenue were removed by flatbed tow truck.
