New Hoboken Mom Brittney Upman Dies Of Cancer At 33: 'Loved By So Many'
Brittney Upman, a 33-year-old Hoboken resident and new mom, died on Sunday, Oct. 15 after battling leptomeningeal carcinoma, according to her obituary.
A fundraiser has been set up for Upman's husband, Michael and her son, Jett, and had raised more than $146,000 as of press time.
"Britt is a beautiful person inside and out," Nicole Molesphini, who organized the fundraiser while Upman was still alive, said.

Double Murder-suicide: Three Dead In New Brunswick Stabbing
Three people died in what police are calling a double murder-suicide in New Brunswick.
Eduardo Mateo Lorenzo, 26, allegedly stabbed Gabriela De La Cruz Camero, 22, and Jesus Antonio-Salazar, 25, before taking his own life on Saturday, Oct. 21, around 11 p.m., Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said.
De La Cruz Camero was found with multiple stab wounds at Feaster Park, near Handy Street and Throop Avenue, Ciccone said alongside local police. She was taken to the hospital where she died.

A Rutgers University doctoral student who was active in helping the Central Jersey community fractured her skull in a recent bicycle crash, friends say.
Suzy Jung was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital on Saturday, July 15 after the crash, according to Chloe (ChungAh) Kim, of New Brunswick, who organized a GoFundMe.
In addition to a cracked skull, Suzy suffered temporary short-term memory loss, slight deafness in her left ear, a constant headache, and nausea, Chloe wrote.

Authorities are searching for a New Jersey man who they say assaulted and robbed and an elderly man in Pennsylvania.
An arrest warrant was issued for Tyrick Miranda, of New Brunswick, on charges of robbery, aggravated assault, and simple assault in the undated incident, Bensalem police said in a Thursday, Oct. 6 news release.
Miranda punched the 70-year-old man in the face, knocking him unconscious, police said.
He then searched the victim's pockets, stole an unknown amount of money, and kicked him twice in the face before fleeing the scene, according to authorities.
