Frankie Muniz's first race since landing a full-time job in NASCAR got two thumbs down. The child star and Bergen County native-turned-racing enthusiast finished 33rd over the weekend in his first Truck Series race since announcing he was becoming a full-time racer. Kingda Ka Rollercoaster Closes After Malfunction At Six Flags Great Adventure
Kingda Ka, the world’s tallest roller coaster located at Six Flags Great Adventure, is closed after a malfunction (scroll for video of the ride). It's the second coaster ride closed after El Toro closed in August, also due to a malfunction. El Torro is set to reopen on Saturday, June 17. Kingda Ka, which is 456 feet high, has been shut down since June 5 after suffering an apparent unintended rollback. Falling debris, a sparking wing at take-off, and a mechanical failure had a United Airlines flight circling the Atlantic until it could make an emergency landing in Newark (scroll for video).
