Paterson Man Captured After Wild Stolen Car Chase Charged In Ridgewood Crime Spree A Paterson man captured in Paramus after a wild stolen car chase that went through several Bergen County towns was responsible for a series of vehicle thefts and burglaries, as well as home break-ins in Ridgewood, authorities said. John Chavan Johnson, 32, remained held Wednesday in the Bergen County Jail following his arrest two days earlier.
