A 25-year-old North Bergen man was caught collecting pornographic images of children, authorities said. Nicholas Sanchez, 25, was taken into custody by members of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force following an investigation, they said. A 26-year-old Union City man wanted out of North Carolina for armed robbery has been charged with repeatedly sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl, authorities said. Hermes Navarro-Cuevas was arrested by members of Homeland Security Investigations at Newark Liberty International Airport in Newark on Friday, May 13 around 12:40 a.m., Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. A North Bergen man was arrested for sexually assaulting an 18-year-old woman at a local hotel, authorities announced. Christopher Graham, 46, was arrested Wednesday by members of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit around 6 a.m. at the Days Inn on Tonnelle Avenue, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Authorities charged a Bayonne ex-con with murder in the Tuesday night shooting death of a man on a Jersey City street. Bernard Wilson, 27, gunned down 38-year-old Abimael Fuentes on Brinkerhoff Street between Monticello and Bergen avenues around 10:30 p.m., Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said Wednesday.
