Ex-mtv Star Who Recruited Sex Trafficking Victims On Social Media Nabbed In Maryland: Police A former MTV reality show star wanted out of Las Vegas for using his large social media presence to recruit sex trafficking victims was arrested in Maryland, authorities said.  Kevin Barnes, aka "Choppa," was extradited to Las Vegas after his capture on a warrant in Linthicum on Monday, April 25, the Anne Arundel County Police Department said on Twitter.  The 37-year-old was formerly part of the MTV reality show "Making The Band," TMZ reports.  Mr. Barnes was arrested on @LVMPD warrant in Linthicum, Maryland.
