Bergen County donated a refurbished 2006 Jeep Liberty to a disabled veteran who is a single mom from Lyndhurst. 'Rescue Mania': Help Vets, Enjoy Old School Professional Wrestling At Rutherford Event
You can find all the attractions that made you fall in love with professional wrestling as a kid, the organizers of this spring’s Rescue Mania event say. Former wrestling stars The Patriot, Bull James, and Crowbar will be in action, alongside hometown heroes Adam Payne, Gunner Trash and Tom “Mad Dog” Montefusco, at the April 14 event at St. Mary’s High School in Rutherford. It all begins with the pre-show meet-and-greet at 2:30. Saddle Brook Man Pretended To Be Army Veteran For Money, Police Say
A 60-year-old Saddle Brook man accused of pretending to be a U.S. veteran to reap financial assistance was arrested on Tuesday, authorities said. Following an investigation, Cresskill police arrested Baustista J. Bonet on charges of identity theft, impersonation and theft by deception, Detective Charles Franke said. Bonet was also served a disorderly persons offense. The Commander fo the Cresskill American Legion Post 21 came to police last month reporting a fraud, Franke said.
