Bicyclist, 12, Hurt In Somerset County Crash Was Not Wearing Helmet: Police
A 12-year-old bicyclist was hospitalized after being struck by a car in Somerset County without a helmet, authorities said. The crash occurred near Route 601 near Reading Boulevard in Montgomery just before 6:10 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, according to Montgomery Police. The Belle Mead boy was crossing the road from the northbound side and pulled out from behind a line of stopped traffic when he was struck by a southbound Toyota Sienna driven by Eunhwa Yang, 43, of Hillsborough, police said. A Somerset County doctor who was arrested on accusations that he sexually assaulted a patient during an appointment is facing additional charges after a second victim came forward, authorities said. Chike J. Aguh, 64, was accused of assaulting a woman during her appointment at his practice in Franklin Township on Tuesday, Jan. 12, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson said in a joint release with other top officials. A Somerset County doctor was arrested on accusations that he sexually assaulted a patient during an appointment, authorities said. Chike J. Psychiatric Treatment Facility Coming To Bergen County As Part Of Unique Hospital Merger
New Jersey's largest health network and mental health facility officially joined forces Thursday finalizing plans for several new addiction centers -- including an inpatient treatment facility in Bergen County. The Hackensack Meridian Health and Carrier Clinic merger will establish New Jersey's first behavioral health urgent care centers as early as next year.
