A Passaic County Health Department employee was hospitalized after the SUV that she was driving was T-boned in Ridgewood. The worker had just visited a patient at the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood when the crash occurred Sunday night, her brother said. A van slammed into a utility pole, splitting it, just off westbound Route 4 on Friday. The driver of the Chevrolet Astro van was checked out at the scene and released following the crash just past Lakeview Street on the Grand Avenue approach to the highway in River Edge shortly before noon Aug. 4.
