NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. -- Representatives from 7-Eleven recently awarded North Arlington High School a grant of $711 as part of Project A-Game, according to NorthJersey.com.

The purpose of the program is to support academics and athletics associated with local schools within the community, according to NorthJersey.com. The grant is made possible through 7-Eleven’s Project A-Game youth outreach program, whose mission is to help kids develop their full potential by promoting academics and athletics and the values and life skills they teach as a path to success, according to NorthJersey.com. 

Local franchisees who identify a specific need in their community can apply for a grant on behalf of a school or youth sports program in their neighborhood, according to NorthJersey.com. The grant award will benefit the futures of students on and off the playing field, said NorthJersey.com.
