Lyndhurst Township Officials Pay $18,620 In Campaign Finance Penalties

LYNDHURST, N.J. -- The Lyndhurst Mayor and other township officials agreed to pay more than $18,000 in fines due to allegations of election law violations dating back to 2009, according to NorthJersey.com.

The state said Mayor Robert Giangeruso and several others were late to file campaign contribution heading in to the 2009 election, NorthJersey.com said. 

Current township commissioners Thomas DiMaggio and John Montillo, former Mayor Richard DiLascio, former township commissioner Brian Haggerty and Board of Education member Joseph Abruscato were also named in the case, NorthJersey.com reported.
