Surveillance photo of Northvale PNC Bank robber released

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: The PNC Bank in Northvale was robbed late this afternoon by a man who police suspect might be responsible for other New Jersey bank holdups.

No weapon was shown during the robbery at the bank at Paris Avenue and Livingston Street just before 4:30 p.m., police told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

They were looking for a man with a “partially shaved head,” about 5-foot-10 and 200 pounds, with fair skin and either black or Hispanic.

The robber handed the teller a note inside a folder (see surveillance photo) and fled on foot east on Paris Avenue with an undisclosed amount of cash, they said.

He was wearing a gray jacket, a black sweat shirt, black pants, work boots and a black hat.

The Bergen County Sheriff’s Office K9 unit searched the area around Paris Avenue and Firenze Street.
