No weapon was shown during the robbery at the bank at Paris Avenue and Livingston Street just before 4:30 p.m., police told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.
They were looking for a man with a “partially shaved head,” about 5-foot-10 and 200 pounds, with fair skin and either black or Hispanic.
The robber handed the teller a note inside a folder (see surveillance photo) and fled on foot east on Paris Avenue with an undisclosed amount of cash, they said.
He was wearing a gray jacket, a black sweat shirt, black pants, work boots and a black hat.
The Bergen County Sheriff’s Office K9 unit searched the area around Paris Avenue and Firenze Street.
