CVS on Ridge Road, North Arlington
It was about 10 to 4 in the afternoon on Wednesday when the thief walked out of the CVS Pharmacy on Ridge Road with “a basketful of items” worth $431, North Arlington Police Lt. John Hern said.
He dropped the hand basket and ran when an employee came after him, Hern said.
Police from North Arlington and Lyndhurst, as well as the Bergen County Police K9 unit descended on the area after a witness said the thief ran through several backyards.
He was described as 5-foot-9, with long brown hair and wearing brown shorts and a black t shirt.
