Someone heard the gunshots just before midnight April 28 and called campus police, who reported finding nine shell casings — along with seven bullet holes in a STOP sign and two more in a SLOW sign — near the intersection of Odabash Way and Country Club Road, an official report obtained by CLIFFVIEW PILOT confirms.
“All the bullet holes went through the [stop] sign and into the residential area that backs up to Country Club Road,” BCC Police Officer Thomas Meyers reported.
Bergen County Police were called and are investigating.
Campus police also reportedly took photos of the signs.
