WOOD-RIDGE, N.J. — Members of the North Arlington Fire Department and their families gathered at The Fiesta in Wood-Ridge Saturday night for the annual department dinner.

This year's chief, Brian FitzHenry, was honored, along with 2015 Chief John Inzinna, Deputy Chief Jeffrey Nichols and Assistant Chief Robert Kairys.

Ex-Chief Mario Gino and Firefighter Joseph Weiss were also honored for 25 years of service to the department.

"Our first responders keep us safe and help the town deliver vital services to the residents," said Bergen County Freeholder Steve Tanelli of North Arlington, who presented awards from the county at the dinner.

"Now more than ever it is important they have our full support."
