North Arlington man inappropriately touched Lyndhurst girl, prosecutor charges

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: An auto dealership employee from North Arlington was arrested and charged with inappropriately touching a 13-year-old Lyndhurst girl a year or so ago.

Juan C. Collado, who turns 43 in a few weeks, was being held on $50,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with sexual assault and child endangerment.

Collado, who is divorced, was arrested yesterday by Lyndhurst police and members of Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli’s Special Victims Unit after being alerted by the state Division of Child Protection and Permanency.

“The alleged instances occurred about a year ago in Lyndhurst, when the victim was between the ages of 11 and 12 years old,” Molinelli said.
