Lyndhurst police release sketch of robber who fired shots

HAVE YOU SEEN THIS MAN? Lyndhurst police this afternoon released a sketch of a man who a borough resident said fired two shots in his hallway while two others took $200 in cash from him last night.

“Two shell casing were located at the scene, as were two bullet holes in both the wall and ceiling of the hallway,” Capt. John J. Valente said.

CLIFFVIEW PILOT broke the story within an hour of last night’s incident:

The gunman is described as:

  • about 30 years old;
  • 5’8” – 5’9”, 185-190 lbs.
  • short, black, slicked-back hair

A second robber was described as 6 feet tall, slender, with blond hair and wearing a denim hoodie and jeans. The other was about 5-foot-8, 185 pounds, also wearing a hoodie with sweatpants.
