Nicole Faccenda
The 42-year-old, 150-pound Faccenda, who has black hair and hazel eyes, is being detained pending a bail hearing in U.S. District Court in Newark.
Agents with the federal bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms say they have recordings of Faccenda telling the friend she wanted the target shot in the head and “gone, gone to the moon.” She also said she wanted to “piss on (the girlfriend’s) grave and … spit on the casket,” a complaint filed by an ATF agent in Newark says.
The friend went to federal authorities and produced what Faccenda thought was a hitman to do the job, the government said. It actually was an ATF agent.
However, Faccenda was recorded as saying she would pass the money through her friend instead of directly because she had “watched a lot of Lifetime movies and wanted to make sure that the undercover hitman was not a cop.”
Federal authorities say they also have recordings of Faccenda saying she didn’t want the girlfriend’s children harmed, but if something happened to them, “Well, I’m sorry.”
She later said she would pay $20,000 — at the girlfriend’s funeral. She said she even “had a black outfit ready,” according to the complaint.
The undercover agent asked if she was sure, because there would be no turning back, it says. “That’s not even an issue,” she allegedly responded.
Faccenda said she had “thought about this for a long time and has played every scenario through her head how she wants the job done, such as forcing the victim girlfriend’s car off the road, someone just coming up to her and taking her out, or going into the victim-girlfriend’s house with a silencer and taking them all out.”
