A Walmart employee called police as a credit card being used by 22-year-old Jamont M. Simon repeatedly was declined, Detective Capt. Darren Sucorowski told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

The cards that responding officers found Simon carrying all bore numbers to legitimate accounts, the captain said.

As a result, Simon was charged with eight counts of fraudulent credit card use and ordered held on $10,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail.
