Fredy Guarderas, a 52-year-old former North Arlington resident, hadn’t made an alimony payment in four years, Detective Joseph Rutigliano said following the traffic stop and arrest late yesterday morning by Detective Joseph Biamonte.

Guarderas, now of Phillipsburg, was issued summonses for the motor vehicle offenses.

He was then turned over to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, which had been looking for him, Rutigliano said.
