Vincent Buono, 24, of Passaic apparently didn’t know that the driver he’d been hassling was recording the incident on a dash cam, Police Lt. Shawn Kudlacik said.

It began just after 5 p.m. on July 8 when the guard exited off Route 21 and stopped on River Drive to let a car carrier enter an auto dealership lot.

Buono was behind him in a white Mitsubishi that he then drove over the double-yellow lines while hard-braking — speeding up and slamming on his brakes, Kudlacik said.

After both vehicles cleared the Gregory Avenue Bridge onto Main Avenue, Buono “slowed down and held a black handgun outside his car window,” the lieutenant said.

He then “pointed it behind him at the victim,” who turned down another street, he said.

Wallington detectives armed with a warrant tracked down the Mitsubishi’s owner, found a black, airsoft C02-charged handgun in the vehicle and arrest Buono.

A judge ordered Buono held on $75,000 bail on charges of aggravated assault and illegal weapons counts.
