Driver Thierno Diallo, 22, of Guinea in South Africa (above, left), was ordered held on $35,000 in the Bergen County Jail. He also received summons for not having a license, registration or insurance, as well as for traffic violations: failing to maintain a lane, careless driving and having drugs in a motor vehicle.
Diallo’s two passengers — Joel Lucca (middle) and Abdul Abdullah (right), both 24 — were being held on $30,000 bail each.
Each is charged with five counts of wrongful impersonation, two of credit card theft and one each of fraudulent use of credit cards and possession of false credit cards, as well as minor drug possession after no one claimed ownership of the pot, police said.
None of the occupants were wearing seatbelts when Richard Jasinski stopped their car at 8:46 p.m. Friday on Orient Way at Valley Brook Avenue, Police Capt. John Valente told CLIFFVIEW PILOT this morning.
