Wanda Kulig Gugala, 95, Longtime Wallington Resident

WALLINGTON, N.J. -- Wanda Kulig Gugala, of Wallington, died on Tuesday, April 12. She was 95.

Born in Passaic, Gugala lived in Wallington most of her life. Before she retired, she and her husband owned and operated Edward's Liquors, in Wallington. She was a parishioner of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, in Wallington.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Nagy of Wayne; grandchildren Susan, Steven, Cindy, Amy, Michael and Alison; and great-grandchildren Sarah, Katie, Matthew, Emily, Andrew, Lillian, Grant, Jordan, Haley and Michael.

Gugala was predeceased by her husband, Edward Gugala; daughter Jane Elizabeth Intindola; and siblings Chet Kulig and Jean Solomka.

Visiting hours will be from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, at the Kamienski Funeral Home of Wallington, 106 Locust Ave. A funeral mass will follow, at noon on Saturday, at the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 127 Paterson Ave., in Wallington. Interment will be at St. Michael's Cemetery, 120 Saddle River Ave., in South Hackensack.
