Born in Sicily, Italy, he lived in North Arlington and Kearny before moving to Lyndhurst in 1987. He worked at Catholic Community Services in Newark before retiring.
He is survived by his wife, Maria; children, Caterina Giangrasso and her husband Joe and Anna Acanfora and her husband Ralph; grandchildren, Carlo and Fabio Giangrasso and Charlie and Luca Acanfora; and siblings, Maria Russo, Sam Gugliuzza and his wife Josephine and Giuseppe Gugliuzza and his wife Maria.
Funeral from the Parow Funeral Home 185 Ridge Rd., North Arlington on Saturday, Jan.21 at 9 a.m. thence to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst for the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.
