NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. -- Rita Achong (nee Corley ), 91, died Thursday, June 16, 2016 at the Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune.
Born in Jersey City, she lived in North Arlington for many years before moving to Wall three years ago.
She worked as a bookkeeper in New York City for several companies before retiring 25 years ago.
She was the wife of the late Charles W. Achong; mother of Charles W. Achong and his wife Rosemary and the late Dorothy J. Achong; grandmother of Kristine Achong; sister of Dorothy Cannon, Mildred O'Kane and the late Mary Rowan, Gloria Gillespie, Trudy Maltese, Madeline Smith, Thomas and Martin Corley; and the aunt of many nieces and nephews.
