Paul H. Wirth, 89, Of North Arlington

NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. -- Paul H. Wirth, 89, of North Arlington, died Saturday, Sept. 3. He was 89. 

He was born in Newark and he lived in Nutley for more than 65 years. He worked for the Newark Public School System for more than 40 years before retiring as vice-principal of Roberto Clemente School in 1998. 

He proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Mary's Council #2346 in Nutley. 

He was predeceased by his wife, Kathleen. 

He is survived by his children, Kathleen and Paul; grandchildren, Heidi, Brian, Katie and Christine; grandchild, Annalise; and siblings, Marion, Richard and David. 

Funeral services will take place at 9 a.. Friday at Parow Funeral Home, 185 Ridge Road, North Arlington, thence to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 10 Franklin Place, North Arlington for a 10 a.m. funeral Mass. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Visiting hours will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
