NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. -- Michael K. Boylan, 44, of North Arlington, died Saturday, Sept. 3. He was 44.
Boylan was born April 8, 1972, in Jersey City.
He was a consumer at Pathways to Independence in Kearny. He was a graduate of the Bergen County Special Services Washington School and also attended the Felician School for Exceptional Children. He was a member of the Lyndhurst R.E.C., H.A.N.D.S Inc. of North Arlington, Tri-County Bowling and Helping Exceptional People.
He is survived by his mother, Marianne Sokolnicki-Mackey and her husband Bill Mackey; father, Kevin Boylan; and brothers, Matthew and Daniel.
Funeral services will take place at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Parow Funeral Home, 185 Ridge Road, North Arlington, thence to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 10 Franklin Place, North Arlington for a 10 a.m. funeral Mass. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pathways to Independence 60 Kingsland Ave., Kearny or the Felician School foe Exceptional Children, 260 South Main St., Lodi, in his memory.
