LYNDHURST, N.J. -- Mary Virginia Ferrari, a resident of Lyndhurst, died Thursday, Feb.18. She was 98.
Ferrari was a member of Mount Carmel Church and the Lyndhurst Senior Citizens.
She was the mother of Denise and her husband Douglas Van Deroef; and the late Carole Ann Creighton and Louis Eugene Ferrari; the mother-in-law of Carol Ferrari; sister of Angeline Young and the late Guid Giacomini; grandmother of Judi Mansi and her husband Robb; Gina Gearity and her husband Vincent; Lisa Ferrari; Lauren Van Deroef; and great-grandmother of Griffin, Jackson, Alexa, Garrett and Tyler.
She was predeceased by her husband, Louis Ferrari.
The funeral will be Tuesday, Feb. 23, at 12:30 p.m. from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. The funeral Mass will be at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park. Friends will be received Tuesday 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
