LYNDHURST, N.J. -- Kathleen A. Tierney, of Lyndhurst, died on Thursday, Jan. 12. She was 68.
Born in 1948, Tierney was a member of the Friday Night Ladies. She worked as a clerk at the Bergen County Clerk's Office for 10 years.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Tierney; children Patrick and his wife Meredith Tierney, Ryann and her husband Bill Harris; siblings James and his wife Marie Feeney, Michael and his wife Carole Feeney, Ann Marie and her husband Tom Bessette, and Karen and her husband Don Reinertsen; and grandchildren William, Madison, Jack and Riley.
Tierney was predeceased by her son, Billy Tierney.
Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 15, at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Rd., in Lyndhurst. The funeral will be from the funeral home at 10 a.m. on Monday, with an 11 a.m. funeral mass at the Queen of Peace Church, 10 Franklin Place, in North Arlington. Cremation will be private.
