NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. -- Josephine Festa, of North Arlington, died Aug. 25. She was 100.
Born in Newark, she lived in Lyndhurst before moving to North Arlington in 1961 and was a member of the North Arlington Senior Harmony Club.
She worked as an assembler for General Motors Corp. in Harrison for 14 years before retiring 41 years ago.
She was the beloved wife of Nicholas; mother of Ralph J. Festa and his wife Virginia of Elmwood Park; grandmother of Nicole Klas and her husband Brian of Hillsdale; great-grandmother of Angela and Kayla; and sister-in-law of Mary Risoldi of Newark.
There will be a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Parow Funeral Home, 185 Ridge Road, North Arlington with entombment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
