WALLINGTON, N.J. -- Lifelong resident of Wallington Joseph "JoJo" Blumenschein died on Tuesday, Jan. 5. He was 36.
Blumenschein had worked for the Paterson Board of Education as a substitute teacher for three years. He was also an assistant counselor for Eva's Village, in Paterson.
He was the son of Cathy (Bocco) Blumenschein; brother of George Blumenschein and Cathie Blumenschein; and uncle of George, London and Donovan. He will also be missed by his dog Charlie and cat Larry.
Blumenschein was predeceased by his father, George Blumenschein.
Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 8, at the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad St., in Carlstadt.
The funeral procession will depart at 8:45 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 9, from the funeral home, for a 9:30 a.m. funeral Mass in St. Joseph's Church, in East Rutherford. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, in North Arlington.
