John M. Boguszewski, 70, Of Lyndhurst

LYNDHURST, N.J. – John M. Boguszewski, a resident of Lyndhurst, died Monday, July 11. He was 70.

Born in Jersey City, he lived in North Arlington and Kearny before moving to Lyndhurst. He worked as a Realtor for E.R.A. Realty in Rutherford for 25 years before retiring in January. Earlier, he was the bursar at the New School for Social Research/Parsons School of Design in New York City for many years.

He served proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps during Vietnam.

He is survived by his children, Sharon Pereira and husband Anthony, Amy Boguszewski, John Boguszewski and wife Mary and Michael Boguszewski; grandchildren, A.J., Evan and Corey; sister, Jean Sperling; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Christine; and sister, Joan Latella.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Parow Funeral Home, 185 Ridge Road, North Arlington. The funeral will be at 8:45 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The funeral Mass will follow at 9:45 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 10 Franklin Place, North Arlington.
