NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. -- Frances Pinto, of North Arlington, died Tuesday, Nov. 15. She was 83.
She was born Dec. 4, 1932, in Jersey City and lived in North Arlington for more than 40 years. Before retiring more than 20 years ago, she worked at Toyamenka in Secaucus and Singer Sewing Machines in New York City.
She was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Mary (nee Routar ) Pinto; and siblings, Mary Gumble and Michael " Mickey " Pinto.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Parow Funeral Home, 185 Ridge Road., North Arlington. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. The family will receive friends from 3-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Humane Society of Bergen County, 221 Stuyvesant Ave., Lyndhurst, NJ 07071.
