Born in Passaic, Szewczyk was a parishioner of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, and a member of the Rosary Confraternity and the Pavlic-Koster VFW Post 2640 Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her children, Theodore Szewczyk and Debbie Genty, and her brother, Walter Dziga.
Szewczyk was predeceased by her husband, Stanley, and her siblings, John Dziga, Joseph Dziga, Rose Reininger and Helen Zapotosky.
Visiting hours will be from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept 21, at Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave., in Wallington. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday at the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, 127 Paterson Ave., in Wallington.
