NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. -- Eleanor M. Kreiss (nee Pinkoski ), 95, died Friday, April 8, 2016 at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in Somerset.
Born in Jersey City, she lived in North Arlington for the past 60 years.
She worked as an auditor for Blue Cross & Blue Shield in Newark for 15 years before retiring in 1985. Earlier, she worked in accounting at Brinks in Newark for 10 years.
She was a member of the Happy Senior Citizens of North Arlington.
Kreiss was the wife of the late William G. Kreiss; mother of Linda M. Hayes, Richard E. Kreiss, William G. Kreiss, Mary Ellen Krause and Michael L. Kreiss' grandmother of 10; and great-grandmother of five.
The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Monday at the Parow Funeral Home 185 Ridge Road, North Arlington, thence to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington for a 10 a.m. funeral Mass. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.
The family will receive friends from 2-6 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
