Claire Patricia 'Pat' Stiehler, 82, Former Lyndhurst Resident

LYNDHURST, N.J. -- Clarie "Pat" Stiehler -- of Waretown, formerly of Lyndhurst -- died on Saturday, Feb. 6. She was 82.

Stiehler worked for Penick Corporation for 20 years, before retiring. She coached Lyndhurst girls softball, was one of the original adult women volleyball players in the Lyndhurst League and was an avid bowler.

She was the wife of Theodore Stiehler, Sr.; mother of Theodore, Jr. and his wife, Nancy Stiehler and Keith; sister of Jean Lorentz and grandmother of two and great-grandmother of three.

Stiehler was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Barbara Stiehler and siblings, Walter Alesandro, Dorothy Wolf, Fabiano Alesandro and Gloria Cutrofello.

Visiting hours will be from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 9, at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Rd., in Lyndhurst. Cremation will be private.
