LYNDHURST, N.J. -- Carol Jane Tamaro, 68, of Lyndhurst, died Tuesday, Sept. 13.
She was born Aug. 14, 1948.
She was a former president of the Lyndhurst Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and a member of Jefferson School PTA from 1977-90.
She is survived by her husband, Victor P. Tamaro Jr.; children, Victoria Lynn Amogretti and her companion Thomas Welch, Marisa Lynn Smith and her husband William and Victor P. Tamaro III and his wife Shonda; siblings, Richard and Thomas (Carol) Lindsay; grandchildren, William, Lindsay, Peter, Julia, Carter and Ryan.
A memorial service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Luke R.C. Church, 1674 Old Freehold Road, Toms River. Family and friends will be gathering from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
