Alexander Stanley Nieradk, 94, Of Wallington

WALLINGTON, N.J. -- Alexander Stanley Nieradka died Aug. 31. He was 94. 

He was born Feb 20, 1922, to Joseph and Anna (Majdanska) Nieradka, and raised in Wallington. 

He was a registered pharmacist with a degree from Rutgers University, School of Pharmacy and the owner and operator of Steigner’s Pharmacy in Paterson. 

He proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1944-46, stationed in Guam. 

He is survived by his sons, Paul and Thomas and his wife Susan; grandsons, Gregory and Alex; sisters, Mildred Brusic and Josephine Klonfas; and many nieces and nephews. 

Visiting will be on from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave, Wallington. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 120 Paterson Ave, Wallington. He will be laid to rest immediately following at St. Nicholas Cemetery in Lodi.
