Lyndhurst Police Help Get Woman Liver Transplant

LYNDHURST, N.J. — The Lyndhurst Police Department is rallying for Maria Madore, who has family living in town, and is in need of a liver transplant.

Maria Madore was born with a defective liver and is waiting for the right match so she can receive a transplant.

More than $6,000 had been raised as of Friday afternoon on a GOFUNDME page for Madore, who was born with a defective liver.

Her brother is a police officer, which is why the Lyndhurst Police Department is giving anyone who donates to the page a 20 percent discount on high-grade law enforcement apparel from Midnight Platoon.
