LYNDHURST, N.J. — Koriann Tuero of Lyndhurst is seeking homes for two kittens that her father-in-law found in a Union City alley Tuesday afternoon.

Richard Tuero, Sr. was walking to his job at a local middle school when he noticed four kittens in the alley.

One ran off, but Tuero scooped up the remaining three and put them in a trash can so they wouldn't do the same.

Another passerby took home one of them, and Tuero called his daughter-in-law to help care for the other two.

"They are so dirty and covered in urine," she told Daily Voice. "They haven't touched their food."
