On January 22, Linda Fox was being driven home from work at Clara Maass Medical Center by her sister Pam when an SUV veered across the road and crashed head-on into their vehicle.

Pam suffered a fractured wrist and some bruising. Fox — who also volunteers her time as an EMT — shattered her hip, requiring surgery and extensive rehabilitation.

Fox's best friend Sandra Graham started a fundraising campaign on the crowdfunding website GoFundMe to help cover the North Arlington native's medical expenses.

"I'm doing this for her because she does everything that she can for everybody else," Graham told Daily Voice. "She is the kind of person who would give you the shirt off her back."

Graham has set the fundraising goal at $7500. She said Fox, who has three children, will be unable to work, drive, or climb the stairs in her home for some time.

"She is an amazing person who is always there to lend a helping hand and now she is the one that needs support," Graham said.
