Vocal Group The Cameos Cap Successful Lyndhurst Summer Concert Series

LYNDHURST, N.J. -- Excellent weather is expected Wednesday night when a successful "Music Under the Stars" summer concert series in Lyndhurst comes to a nostalgic end with one of New Jersey's most popular vocal groups, the Cameos.

The Fair Lawn-based band counts among its repertoire classics by the Duprees, the Four Seasons, Little Anthony and the Imperials, The Drifters, Larry Chance & The Earls, Dion, The Flamingos and Eugene Pitt & The Jive Five.

Backed by a quintet of musicians, the four diverse vocalists honed their act in dinner clubs and weddings -- but have also been a favorite at the PNC Bank Arts Center (see video, above).

The Annie Mash Trio opens at 7 p.m. at Town Hall Park, followed by the headliners at 8.

Bring lawn chairs or blankets. Limited bench seats will be available.
