Public Viewing Nights At William D. McDowell Observatory

LYNDHURST, N.J. -- The William D. McDowell Observatory in Lyndhurst invites the public to view the night sky Wednesday nights through its state-of-the-art telescope. The observatory's "Open Public Viewing Nights Wednesdays" will take place from 7-10 p.m. Nov. 18 and 25, weather permitting.

In order to access the observatory telescope, a visitor must be able to climb 25 steps in a spiral formation.
