North Arlington residents are urged to make sure that all cats and dogs are vaccinated against rabies. Unvaccinated domestic animals can contract rabies from wild animals and transmit infection to humans.

Those attending the Rabies Clinic will have the opportunity to obtain a license for their dogs and cats after the pet is vaccinated. The fee for a dog or cat license is $10 if the animal is neutered or spayed and $13 if not.

Licensing fees may be made either by check or money order payable to the North Arlington Health Department or the exact cash amount.

For more information, call the North Arlington Health Department at (201) 955-5695.
