ICE Looks To Deport Stolen Car Passenger, 22, After Montvale Pursuit, Elmwood Park Crash A stolen vehicle pursuit that began in Montvale ended in a crash and the arrests of two occupants at a Garden State Parkway exit ramp in Elmwood Park. Police began pursuing the Range Rover, which had been reported stolen out of Saddle River, on Chestnut Ridge Road around 5 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 30, Montvale Police Chief Doug McDowell said. The vehicle crashed at Exit 157 onto Route 46 off the southbound Parkway 15 or so minutes later. The driver, Raidis A. Genaro Collado, 19, is charged with robbing Exxon stations in Englewood and Ridgefield Park and 7-Elevens in Elmwood Park and Rochelle Park earlier this year. Broken Leg Suffered By Route 46 Pedestrian Struck By Pickup A pedestrian suffered a broken leg when he was struck by a pickup truck before dawn Monday on Route 46 in Elmwood Park, authorities said. The 51-year-old victim from Paterson was crossing the highway at Mola Boulevard when he was hit by a 2008 Dodge Ram shortly after 5:30 a.m., Police Chief Michael Foligno said. He was taken to St. Joseph's with the broken femur and a cut lip, the chief said. Any summonses or charges against the 60-year-old driver from Riverdale were pending the results of an investigation, he said.
