Robber Who Threatened To Blow Up Hillside Bank Arrested: Police
A man who entered a Hillside bank Wednesday afternoon and brandished what he claimed to be an explosive device is under arrest, Chief of Police Vincent Ricciardi said Friday. Jihad Wright, 28, an Elizabeth resident, was arrested there by Hillside police and charged with robbery and kidnapping. Wright was charged with kidnapping for allegedly detaining a bank teller in the course of the robbery and trying to take his vehicle.
