Man Claims He Was Visiting Bayonne Home He Actually Burglarized: Police Bayonne police questioning a disheveled Connecticut man Wednesday afternoon determined he had actually broken into a home where he said he had been visiting a friend, the department said in a statement.  Jeremiah Footman, 18, of Stamford, was stopped around 2 p.m. on West 36th Street. His clothing and hair were soiled with fresh dirt and cobwebs, and he also smelled of marijuana, police said.  A search turned up marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a screwdriver.
