Driver Who Blew Stop Sign, Struck Boy Faces Slew Of Traffic Violations In North Bergen: PD Police have charged the man who they say struck an 11-year-old boy then fled the scene earlier this week in North Bergen. Julio Seoane-Alamo, 57, was behind the wheel of the 2021 gray Ford Explorer that blew a stop sign and struck the boy at 76th Street and Hudson Avenue on Tuesday, Oct. 17, North Bergen police said. Footage of the incident was shared by HudPost. Seoane-Alamo was charged with Assault by Auto, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Endangering an Injured Victim. Rosa Marroquin, 45, was behind the wheel of a gray Toyota Sienna when she crashed into a light pole at the intersection of Route 15 and Lafayette Road in Sparta around 11:55 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, Lt. Nutley Police Officer OK After Fleeing Newark Driver Hits Him: Police A Nutley police officer suffered minor injuries to his arm when a Newark motorist struck him with her vehicle July 6, the department said in a statement.  Police approached a suspicious vehicle driven by Shanoa Glover, 30, on Franklin Avenue. Glover hit the officer when she fled from the scene, according to police.  Police briefly chased her but broke off the pursuit.
