Man Pepper-Sprayed After Refusing To Leave Bayonne Hospital: Police
A 43-year-old Jersey City man was arrested Thursday afternoon when he refused to leave the emergency room at Bayonne Medical Center and then resisted officers’ attempts to remove him, police said. Police responded to the hospital around 3:45 p.m. after Corbin J. Beckles announced that he would not leave the emergency room waiting area when he was instructed to do so by staff, police said. When officers arrived, Beckles again said he was not leaving, according to police.
